Know Before You Go – 2026 Small School Administrators Summit
We're looking forward to welcoming you to the 2026 Small School Administrators Summit, Stronger Together: From Connection to Collective Impact, July 25–27 at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach!

Parking:
Self-parking is available at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach for $15 per day.
Registration & Summit Journal:
At registration on Saturday, July 25th, beginning at 7 AM, you will receive your Summit Journal, which you will use throughout this Summit. This year’s Summit is highly interactive, and your journal will guide you as you collaborate with fellow small school administrators to develop your SSDA Impact Plan, a practical roadmap that you will take back to your district to support the start of the new school year.
A digital version of the journal for download is also available here if you prefer to follow along electronically. We strongly encourage you to use the printed journal during the Summit.
Breakout Sessions:
Throughout the Summit, breakout sessions will be organized by district type.
- Unified School District → Harbor Room
- High School District → Surf Room
- Elementary School District → Ocean and Lagoon Rooms
Sunday Evening Dinner at Newport Dunes:

Join us for SSDA's premier networking event for school district attendees! The Newport Dunes Dinner is a family-friendly evening featuring a beach volleyball tournament, bonfires, s'mores, great food, and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across California.

On Sunday, July 26, from 2 PM to 3 PM, we will host a Solution Crawl during the Summit, a networking experience designed to increase engagement between attendees and exhibitors.
During the Solution Crawl:
- Attendees will visit exhibitor booths while enjoying appetizers and beverages.
- Exhibitors are encouraged to showcase their products, services, and solutions.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how your organization can support their districts.
- We encourage you to come prepared with talking points, demonstrations, and materials that highlight your offerings.
