The California Montessori Project is a public K-8 charter program using research-based Montessori pedagogy in providing academic choice for the greater Sacramento area and Shingle Springs, CA. We are actively seeking enthusiastic teammates for our Shingle Springs campus within our charter network (please visit our website for specific school locations and more information on our "Club Montessori" after-school program). We are looking for employees who enjoy the opportunity to contribute to an after school program that strives for excellence in after school programming and service for our school families who have need for extended care before and after the regular school day. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 2 pm - 6 pm Some early a.m. shifts may also be available (7 am to approximately 8-8:30 am). Our extended care program is a great stepping stone for individuals who are pursuing a career in education. Many of our previous after school staff have gone on to obtain their teaching credentials and have accepted full-time regular teaching assignments.

The most qualified candidates for this position will possess educational units in child development, education or a related field. Candidates should also have verifiable previous successful experience in working with children.

Instructional assistant (TA) Various campuses 2021-2022 FOR CALIFORNIA MONTESSORI PROJECT **Eligibility Pool**

The California Montessori Project is a public K-8 charter program using research-based Montessori pedagogy in providing academic choice for the greater Sacramento area and Shingle Springs, CA. The instructional assistant assists the teacher in improving the quality of educational opportunities, supervision of students, and instructional tasks which, in the judgment of the teacher, may be performed by a non-credentialed employee. The work need not be performed in the presence of the teacher, but the teacher retains responsibility for instruction and supervision. Instructional Assistants work part-time, Monday through Friday, 20-28 hours per week, depending on the grade level assignment. Most assignments are commonly scheduled from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm but this can vary depending on the campus and grade level assignment. As an hourly, part-time employee, no additional health and welfare benefits are provided. Candidates should have experience working with students in a classroom setting.

ENGLISH TEACHER - HIGH SCHOOL 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR FOR PALO VERDE USD

Palo Verde USD is currently accepting applications for an English Teacher - High School for the 2021-22 school year. Under the supervision of the school principal or other supervisor, teaches the assigned class or classes. As part of a secondary teaching assignment, the teacher will teach one or more classes in his/her field of specialization. The teacher will develop in the pupils the skills and knowledge necessary to continue on to the next level of coursework. Students will be taught to appreciate the role of this course in relationship to the real world. Students will learn methods of study and inquiry necessary to master the appropriate course content with the teachers guidance and assistance. The teacher will instill in his/her pupils, staff and administration. The teacher will perform other duties as required to teach the courses assigned. The teacher will follow directions and perform other duties or assignments as requested by administration.
