Willows Unified School District Seeks Superintendent

Willows Unified School District (WUSD) is located in the city of Willows in rural Glenn County, approximately 85 miles north of Sacramento. The city of Willows is the county seat of Glenn County. The city of Willows has a population of approximately 6,100. The district currently serves approximately 1,440 students in grades TK–12. The district maintains three comprehensive schools and one alternative education site.

BUSD Seeks Superintendent

The Bishop Unified School District is looking for a Superintendent who is dedicated to creating a shared vision ensuring academic excellence for all students. This person will be expected to implement the BUSD Mission while providing leadership in policy, finance, budget, curriculum, data analysis, professional development, evaluations, transportation, special education, staffing, facilities, and other duties. Assist the Board of Trustees in setting priorities for the District, establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration throughout the District and within the community and implement the School District’s Continuous Improvement Plan.

BUSD is a culturally diverse district located in the beautiful Eastern Sierra of California. There are 5 schools in the district; Bishop Union High School, Palisade Glacier High School, Keith Bright Juvenile Court School, Home Street Middle School, and Bishop Elementary Schools. Two of several qualifications for this position are:

  • Master’s degree or higher
