CCAP Offering Charter School Renewal Webinars

Through our partnership with California Charter Authorizing Professionals (CCAP), we are excited to invite our members to attend the charter school renewal webinars CCAP has scheduled for November and December.  

 CCAP will be holding two online workshops on the topic of charter school renewals during the 2020-21 school year. The 2020-21 Renewals for Authorizing Staff is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, 10am-12 noon, and the 2020-21 Renewals for Authorizing Boards will take place Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, 10:00am-12 noon. 

 With the State Board of Education deciding on “verified data” sources for use in the charter renewal process this week, it is imperative for charter authorizers to know what will be expected of them in terms of renewal in order to identify priorities, examine the necessary data and examine critical timing issues.  

 We are proud to offer our small Districts invaluable resources such as this through our partnership with CCAP. And just a reminder -- through our partnership, all SSDA members automatically receive a FREE introductory membership to CCAP for the 2020-2021 year.
