Administrators and Teachers Sought for Madera CSLA Communities of Practice

SSDA and the Madera County Superintendent of Schools is currently recruiting participants for two Communities of Practice (CoPs) through its CSLA grant. 

Registration for both of these CoPs are only open to administrators or teachers in the following counties: Inyo, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz,  Stanislaus  & Tulare.

This online academy will explore the intersections between leadership and equity in an era of distance and hybrid learning. It introduces attendees to key leadership philosophical, sociological, and political questions in education.

We will explore these questions and other issues through three central lenses: 

  • 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership Book and Workbook
  • Case Studies of Small School Districts and Best Practices for Distance Learning and achieving Equity
  • Collaborative between CSLA attendees and SSDA Leadership

Each session will be held 4-6pm virtually via Zoom on the 2nd Thursday of each month, from October 2020 through July 2021

Teacher Leadership Series for Small School Districts

This online academy will explore the intersections between leadership and equity in an era of distance and hybrid learning. It introduces attendees to key leadership questions in education, and attendees will have the opportunity to expand their networking circle; collaborate with other small school district leaders; and hear best practices and great ideas.

Each session will be held 4-6pm virtually via Zoom on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from October 2020 through April 2021 (there will be no session in December).
