Contact SSDA's Executive Director - Debra Pearson
Debra has a wealth of small school district experience serving as superintendent for twenty-five years in two northern California school districts which included Browns Elementary School District and Wheatland School District.
Debra has been a strong supporter of SSDA and has served on the Executive Committee for over twenty years while attending and presenting at SSDA events throughout her career. She currently serves as on the Implementation Committee with the California Office of Public School Construction. She is the past President of the California Small School Districts' Association and the California Association of Federally Impacted Schools Association.
Debra also consultants with several school districts by providing board workshops and superintendent searches. Debra is a recognized consultant and educator at the local, state, and national level on educational issues, facilities, and Impact Aid. She is also recognized for her communication skills, building relationships, and a strong work ethic the job of SSDA's Executive Director requires.
Debra resides in Yuba City, CA. She works from home as well as at the SSDA office in Sacramento.
