02.24.12 ACE Act Impacts On Congressional Districts Of Education & Workforce Committee And Ace Co-Sponsors

SSDA is supporting the All Children are Equal Act because it corrects the current inequities in the ESEA Title 1 formulas. These inequities redirect Title 1 funds from small school districts with high percents of title 1 poverty children to send the money to larger districts with lower percents of poverty children. If your district is represented by a member of the House Education and Workforce Committee please contact that Representative and urge their support for this equity legislation. If your Representative is not a member of the Committee please ask the representative to co-sponsor this equity bill.
