02.11.10: State Revenue Picture Appears to be Breaking

The State Controller has released his cash report (click here to view the report) for January.
Again it shows state revenues are coming in higher than what had been estimated in the budget. This is a positive trend and we, are at this time, net positive for the fiscal year. Whether this trend will continue in the next few months is unknown, but it is a more positive trend than the state was facing last year at this time.
