Support Services

The SSDA provides a number of special services to member small school districts over and above the procurement of special legislation in order to benefit small school districts in the state.  These support services will grow every year based upon the recommendations of member small school district superintendents and the SSDA Executive Committee.  The SSDA held its first small school district Superintendent Summit during the SSDA Annual Conference in March, 2007.  Over 80 participating superintendents recommended the establishment of 93 support services in various areas.  These recommendations form the basis for the SSDA's future support services program development.  

SSDA member superintendents can access existing support services through the Members Only section of this website.  Non-members must first become a member to gain access to these services and can receive more information through our Membership section.  Some of the services for our members include:

  •  ComData MasterCard- In partnership with ComData, the SSDA offers a no interest, no annual fees credit card that allows superintendents to establish their own credit limit for employees and manage their accounts online.
  • Tools and Resources-  This section of our website provides our members with literature, forms and links in order to ensure efficiency in maneuvering through the SSDA interactive resources and site.
  • Superintendent Help Desk- The SSDA Superintendent HelpDesk provides support for small school district superintendents and board members in the form of answers to day-to-day operational questions in a number of areas: Curriculum and Instructions, Facilities, Food and Nutrition, Grants, Legislation, Legal, Personnel, and miscellaneous.
