06.14.10: Budget Conference Committee Update

Today the Budget Conference Committee agreed to reverse $800 million in deferrals to help small school district cash flow for June 2010.
The Committee also adopted a waiver process for small school district 2010-11 deferrals for districts with severe June 2011 cash flow problems.
SSDA will continue to advocate for our sponsored SB 1136 (Cox) that will give more districts greater cash flow deferral relief.
