SB 898 Ashburn (R) relates to the After School Education and Safety Program to serve pupils in kindergarten and grades 1 to 9 at participating public elementary, middle, junior high and charter schools. The bill would establish a minimum total direct grant amount for small schools.

SB 1136 Cox (R) would prohibit a school district's apportionment deferral from exceeding the district's required reserve for economic uncertainties if the district meets specified criteria.
