06.12.09: Assembly Member Chesbro Protecting Small School Districts

Assembly Member (and former State Senator) Wes Chesbro is working to protect small school districts during the budget fights over education funding. He is working to give small districts cash flow alternatives for the school apportionment deferrals, opposing the Governor's draconian cuts to home-to-school transportation and looking for means to reduce the Governor’s proposed cuts.
Nobody can prevent school funding cuts, but Assembly Member Chesbro and his staff are making sure small school districts do not take disproportionate cuts and are given flexibility to better deal with the cuts.
