The House passed HR 3021 tonight by a vote of 250-164. Thanks for all the effort for passage of the bill.

June 3, 2008 -- HR 3021, the 21st Century Green High-Performing Public School Facilities Act, is scheduled to go to the House Rules Committee today, June 3, 2008, to establish the procedure for floor consideration of the legislation. As of now, Chairman George Miller of the House Education and Labor Committee is expected to bring the 21st Century Green High-Performing Public School Facilities Act to the House floor for consideration on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.
The bill will authorize $6.4 billion to assist state and local communities with federal grants for energy efficient school modernization and construction projects. Under HR 3021’s distribution formula California would receive $811,513,299 in grants for school facility projects.
