SSDA is a founding member of the National Rural Education Advocacy Coalition which lobbies on federal issues affecting rural schools. Click here to view the NREAC 2008 Legislative agenda.
The agenda starts with issues related to NCLB reauthorization and then includes the major issues affecting IDEA, E-Rate, Secure Rural Schools and Communities Self-Determination Act, Medicaid claiming and school facilities, among other issues.
